In October 2015, I successfully completed the exam to become a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES), signifying facility with both basic and advanced theory and practice in health education/health promotion and program design and evaluation.
I prize efficiency and timeliness; at the same time, I enjoy identifying creative, out-of-the-box solutions to situations from everyday work logistics to thorny research questions to human behavior puzzles; especially helping students and professionals to develop flexible, cross-disciplinary problem-solving skills.
A current hobby (and recently acquired skill): Writing and curating my Twitter account, tracking "What happened today in infectious disease." Follow me @EpidemicsToday!
